Greetings! My name is Jack Walker from Kansas City, Kansas. Welcome to my site! I’ve only been an active collector of license plates for about three years. I'm a member of the Automotive License Plate Collectors Association (ALPCA #8673). My affection for license plates can be attributed to a nearly lifelong interest in military history. I’m a two-tour Vietnam Veteran and a retired USAF Chief Master Sergeant. Prior to my involvement with license plates, I was an active collector of insignia, badges, and medals of all armed forces. I thought that I had purged the “collecting demon” when I sold my entire military collection about 12 years ago. Then I discovered license plates--especially those with what else, a military theme. Hooked again! Need I say more? Pictured is the Award Winning Display at both the Eighth Annual Heartland Regional Meet at Council Bluffs, Iowa on October 6, 2001 and the Second Annual Meet at Shelbina, Missouri on May 19, 2001. I am always updating this display and would like to replace any “samples” with the real thing. I also would like to make this a “pure” Veteran display, replacing the Disabled Veterans, Purple Heart, etc. plates with veteran types.
